Viral outbreak hits Beaumont hospital

Staff at Dublin’s Beaumont hospital are appealing for the public to stay away following a viral outbreak.

It follows an outbreak of the ‘winter vomiting virus’. There are 23 confirmed cases of the illness.

A further 24 people are undergoing tests.
