Eight BSE cases discovered this week

Eight cases of BSE have been discovered in Irish cattle this week, bring the total number of detected cases so far this year to 252.

Two dairy cows in Co Kerry and one each in Co Galway, Co Kilkenny, Co Tipperary and Co Cork were diagnosed with the condition this week.
