Jury in Barron inquest returns open verdict

A jury at the inquest into the death of Co Donegal cattle-dealer Richie Barron has returned an open verdict.

This morning, the corner told the jury that he believed an open verdict should be returned because the evidence had failed to conclusively show if Mr Barron died accidentally in a road accident or was unlawfully killed.
