Relatives of the three Irishmen facing trial in Colombia for allegedly training anti-government rebels held talks with Foreign Affairs Minister Brian Cowen today.

James Monaghan, Martin McCauley and Niall Connolly were arrested in Bogota last August after arriving in the city on a flight from territory held by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), a left-wing guerrilla army which has been fighting the Colombian Government for almost 40 years.
