Taoiseach urged to set up farm income commission

The Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association has called on the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, to establish a commission on farm income.

Pat O’Rourke, the association’s president said around 95% of farmers are facing a 20% fall in their incomes this year.
