Post mortem underway after Limerick stabbing

The State pathologist is this evening carrying out a post mortem on the body of a 22-year-old man who was stabbed to death in Limerick city last night.

Seamus O’Toole, from Hospital in Co Limerick, was found dead outside a flat in Catherine Place with serious chest injuries.

Gardai are still searching for his killer and a murder weapon and are conducting door-to-door inquiries as part of their investigation.
