Officials reject Port Tunnel fears

Dublin City Council and the National Roads Authority have rejected claims that many large trucks will be unable to use the Dublin Port Tunnel because of height restrictions.

In a joint statement released today, the two organisations said a survey by Dublin Port Company found that more than 98% of port-related heavy goods vehicles will be able to use the tunnel.
