Labour to urge Dail to increase redundancy payments

The Labour Party is to table a Dail motion calling for legislation to increase minimum statutory redundancy payments.

At present, workers are entitled to just half a-week’s pay for every year they work under the age of 41 and one week’s pay per year above that age.
