Man wounded in shooting attack

A man was shot in his house in east Belfast, sustaining bullet wounds to the shoulder and side of his body.

The victim, who was in his 20s, was conscious as ambulance staff ferried him to hospital.

He was wounded when a number of shots were fired through the living room window of his Hyndford Street home at around 10.20pm last night.
