NI health service gets €475m boost

Northern Ireland’s troubled Health Service today received a £300m (€475m) boost in the draft budget announced by Finance Minister Sean Farren.

The cash injection of an extra 13.6% puts annual spending on health above £3bn (€4.75bn) for the first time.
