Religious group loses legal broadcasting battle

The Power to Change religious group has lost its legal attempt to force RTE to broadcast advertisements promoting God.

The group had sought a High Court injunction compelling RTE to air the commercials, but the court ruled today that the ads would breach regulations banning the promotion of religious faiths on the Irish airwaves.
