The Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams is calling on the British Prime Minister Tony Blair to take action because the North is in a crisis.

Speaking after the announcement made by the UUP meeting this afternoon, Mr Adams insisted that there is a crisis in the peace process.

He wants Mr Blair to play his leadership role.

The call comes after news that the UUP are giving republicans three months to abandon violence for good.
