Body found in Donegal waters

Gardai have now confirmed the discovery of a body of a young man in the waters in the Dunloe area of County Donegal.

The body was found only a short time ago.

The body was found in shallow waters during the search for 26-year-old Brendan Gallagher from Dunloe.

From first light today, 60 local people set out to look for the young man who had been missing since yesterday.

Gardai say that they will not comment on the identity of the dead man until there has been a positive identification of the body.
