David Trimble has just made a statement from the UUP meeting.

His party have said that they have set January 18 as the deadline for pulling out of the power sharing executive.

They said that they are fed up with the situation that the British government has taken unionism for granted.

In addition they claim that the republicans have had several breaches of their ceasefire.

The UUP are now giving republicans up until the January 18 as a deadline to cease all paramilitary activity.
