The Employer's body has launched its campaign to convince the public that a 'yes' vote in the Nice Treaty is a good idea.

They insist that a second rejection of the Nice Treaty would have serious negative consequences for Ireland.

IBEC maintain that it would lead to Ireland's isolation both politically and economically.

Speaking at the IBEC meeting, former EU commissioner, Ray McSharry, says that he is confident that voters this time round will now give the Nice Treaty a 'yes' vote.
