The Consumers Association of Ireland says that the announcement of the creation of an interim Personal Injuries Assessment Board is a welcome development.

It is now expected that the board will be set up within the next month. Mary Harney is now making the move to overhaul the insurance industry after recommendations by the Motor Industry Advisory Board.
