Ex-soldiers' families call for apology

Relatives of ex-soldiers who still live in army housing at the Curragh in Co Kildare are demanding an immediate apology from Minister for Defence Michael Smith following comments he made last night.

It is reported Mr Smith referred to these families as 'a boil that had to be lanced'.
