Ignoring peace crisis not an option, Trimble warned
It is not acceptable for political parties and governments to do nothing about the crisis in the Northern Ireland peace process, a leading critic of Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble claimed today.
With 24 hours to go before his party’s showdown on the future of power sharing, Jeffrey Donaldson called on fellow Ulster Unionists to protect the integrity of the political institutions by taking action against parties linked to paramilitaries.
