Instances of date rape rising 'twofold'

Instances of date rape in Ireland have risen twofold since 2000, according to reports out today.

There were 160 reported cases of date rape last year - but authorities believe the number could be much higher. They fear embarrassment is preventing victims from reporting the crime.
