ASTI: pro rata payment detrimental

The Association of Secondary Teachers of Ireland (ASTI) says pro rata payment to teachers on the basis of their students exam results may adversely affect the Irish educational system.

ASTI President, PJ Sheehy, said exam results may not be an indication of professional performance.
