Majority favour doubling tobacco prices

Up to 63% of people in Ireland favour the doubling of tobacco prices, according to a new survey released today.

The news comes as an expert in tobacco control is to tell a seminar here that raising tax on cigarettes is the best way to fight the numbers taking up smoking.
