Ahern: Govt spending must be kept in check

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern says tough decisions will have to be made to ensure that Government spending is kept in check.

He was speaking at a Fianna Fail meeting in Killarney, amidst growing concerns amongst backbenchers over the Government's finances.
