Taoiseach denies FF backbencher dissent

The Taoiseach is rejecting suggestions of dissent amongst Fianna Fail backbenchers over the decision not to publicly fund a national sports stadium.

Speaking at Dublin Castle Bertie Ahern said there is disappointment but stressed TDs are aware of the downturn in the world economy and dwindling Government coffers.
