Blair pledges to further reform Northern police

British Prime Minister Tony Blair has promised to introduce legislation to further reform the police force in the North, according to SDLP leader Mark Durkan.

Speaking after talks with Mr Blair today, Mr Durkan said legislation to ease nationalist worries about the PSNI will be brought forward in the next season.
