Northern Ireland pays tribute to September 11 victims
People across Northern Ireland are today commemorating those who lost their lives in the September 11 attacks on the United States.
A commemorative tree will be planted and a plaque unveiled in the grounds of the Belfast's City Hall at 2.30pm.
A minute's silence will also be observed during the ceremony, which will be led by Belfast Lord Mayor Alex Maskey, US Consul-General Barbara Stephenson and Ulster Unionist councillor Chris McGimpsey.
