Sinn Fein has tabled a motion in the Dail calling on the Government to strongly oppose US President George W Bush’s plans to start a new war against Iraq.

The party’s leader in Leinster House, Caoimhghin O’Caolain, said the Irish Government has remained worryingly quiet on the issue so far, despite increasing rhetoric from the White House.
