Unionists accused of manufacturing crisis

Sinn Fein’s Martin McGuinness has accused unionists of manufacturing a crisis in the peace process by claiming that the IRA is orchestrating street violence in Belfast.

Mr McGuinness said yesterday’s admission by the city’s most senior police officer that loyalists were responsible for most of the violence has undermined unionist attempts to spark a fresh crisis.
