Foreign Affairs Minister Brian Cowen has told the Dail that a "yes" vote in the re-run of the Nice Treaty referendum will not affect Ireland's military neutrality.

Speaking at the beginning of a debate on the treaty, Mr Cowen, claimed the Government has proven that Nice does not affect neutrality.
