Man’s body found in house in Co Galway

Gardai in Co Galway are investigating the death of a young man whose body was found in a house in Eyrecourt this afternoon.

The house and part of the street outside have been sealed off pending technical examination and the State Pathologist has been called to the scene.

A post mortem is due to be carried out later this evening.

Gardai have not revealed any further details except to say that they are treating the death as suspicious.

The dead man’s name will not be released until all next of kin are informed.
