Superquinn butchers begin strike over pay

Butchers at Superquinn outlets in Dublin and Kildare mounted industrial action today in protest at their pay.

The 105 butchers in 11 of the supermarket chain’s 19 stores downed tools, forcing the closure of branches in Blackrock and Bray.
