European Parliament meets today

The European Parliament will meet today in Strasbourg in one of the last Parliament meetings before the Irish electorate vote on the Nice Treaty Referendum.

Council will present the draft general budget for 2003. The question of packaging waste will also be debated in a bid to raise the minimum target for recycling across the Eurozone.
