Government to launch Nice information guide

The Government will step up its bid to reverse last year’s referendum rejection of the Nice treaty for European Union expansion today with the high-powered launch of an information guide on the issue.

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and Tanaiste Mary Harney will together initiate moves to prompt the delivery of the 1.4 million copies of the 14-page publication to every household in the state over the next few weeks.
