SIPTU warns City Jet handling dispute could escalate
SIPTU is warning that the City Jet handling dispute at Dublin airport may spread.
Representatives from other sections of the airport gave it their full support.
SIPTU’s Dermot O’Loughlin said workers at the airport were united in their anger at the meeting.
"We are both sympathetic and angry because standards will drop significantly if this company is allowed to continue in the fashion that they do.
"Obviously there is sympathy towards the City Jet handlers particularly as they are quite young relative to the industry and very vulnerable because of their low pay."
