Cowen in Denmark for Nice Treaty discussions

Foreign Affairs Minister Brian Cowen is in Denmark today to discuss the upcoming re-run of the Nice Treaty referendum with other EU foreign ministers.

Mr Cowen is expected to tell his counterparts that the Irish Government is determined to have the treaty passed, despite the fact that it was rejected by 54% of the electorate in June 2001.
