Fine Gael has criticised the Government’s decision to withdraw €15m from the fund established to reduce hospital waiting lists.

Money from the national treatment purchase fund was intended to be used to send Irish patients abroad for treatment, but the Department of Health has decided to withhold some of the funding as part of a major round of cutbacks.
