Medical workers ready to strike this week
Hundreds of geriatric and psychiatric patients in Ireland face disruption after medical workers said today they would go on strike.
Ward attendants, who carry out basic medical duties such as changing dressings, will stage a walkout at six hospitals on Thursday and Friday amid a pay dispute.
