Dublin Castle to host public meeting on TV rights directive

A public meeting on the possible events to be covered by the EU’s ‘Television without Frontiers’ directive is due to take place in Dublin Castle later today.

Under the directive, the Governments of EU member states can designate culturally important events that must be broadcast free of charge on terrestrial television.
