Kerry drowning victim named

The name of the man who drowned off the coast of Kerry last night has been released.

He was 26-year-old Eugene Hendrick of North Monastry Road in Cork City.

The young man got into difficulty while swimming at Camp, Co Kerry at 8pm yesterday.

Rescue workers later recovered Mr Hendrick’s body from the water.
