Two injured in Co Louth accident

Two people have been injured in a road accident in County Louth.

A car and motorcycle collided on the main Dublin to Belfast road at the Xerox factory south of Dundalk shortly after 3am today.

A woman who was a pillion passenger on the motorbike was seriously injured, and the male driver is also being treated for injuries. Both were taken to Louth County hospital.

Those travelling in the car escaped without injury.
