Mail deliveries in rural areas were again delayed today by a pay dispute involving postmasters and An Post.

More than 600 members of the Irish Postmasters’ Union have been refusing to accept early morning deliveries at sub-post offices, or to supervise and assist mail-sorting since the start of the week.
