More young Irish women having abortions

The number of Irish women aged 20 and under receiving abortions in England rose during the first quarter of this year, according to figures released in Britain.

A total of 257 Irish girls in this age-group terminated their pregnancies in England between January and March, an increase of 47 on the figures for last year.
