Violence erupts on streets of Belfast

Violence erupted on the streets of Belfast again last night as Catholic homes came under sustained fire while shots were fired in North Belfast.

Catholic homes in the Short Strand came under sustained and repeated attacks from a crowd of several hundred loyalists for up to two hours last night.
