Irish Red Cross renews appeal for African aid

The Irish Red Cross has renewed an appeal for aid to help millions of people facing starvation in southern Africa.

A drought in the area has severely depleted food supplies and the ongoing AIDS epidemic has also left around three million children orphaned.
