Family escape pipe bomb attack

A Catholic couple and their two teenage sons narrowly avoided injury today after what police believe was a sectarian attack on their home in Co Antrim.

A pipe bomb was thrown into their Pearse Park home in Carrickfergus at around 1.30am while the family was sleeping.
