A man was injured in a gun attack on a Co Armagh house, police in Northern Ireland said today.

The 41-year-old father of four escaped with a minor hand injury when up to five blasts from a shotgun were fired into his Craigavon home.

Police said shots were fired through the kitchen window of the home in the Enniskeen area, peppering the walls and ceiling with pellets.

The man’s wife and children, aged between three and 13, suffered shock but no physical injury.

Police were trying to establish a motive for the attack.
