Deported Irishman due back shortly

An Irishman who was deported from Israel for protesting against the occupation of the West Bank is due to arrive in Dublin shortly.

Salah Afifi from Ranelagh in Dublin has spent the last week in an Israeli detention centre.

He had been in Israel with the Ireland-Palestine solidarity campaign.
