A Corkman who died in a climbing tragedy on an Italian mountainside last week was buried today in his native village of Coachford.

Eoin O'Connell of Aghravin, Coachford, died after falling onto rocks while climbing on the Italian side of Europe's highest mountain, Mont Blanc.
