Garage explosion injures teenager

A sixteen-year old has suffered serious hand injuries in an explosion at a garage in the North.

The victim is being treated in hospital following the blast at Garron Heights in Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim.

The youth was alone when the explosion happened. Army explosives experts are currently examining the scene.
