Minister recieves report on clerical sex abuse
The report which looks at how allegations of child sex abuse by clerics in the diocese of Ferns was handled has been submitted to the Minister for Health, Michael Martin.
The investigation was ordered following the resignation of Bishop Brendan Comisky.
Mr George Birmingham, senior council who carried out the report, interviewed victims, the South-Eastern Health Board, gardai and members of the church.
The report is now to be given to the Attorney General for consideration.
