Justice, Equality and Law Reform Minister Willie O’ Dea is appealing to both sides of a dispute with publicans and travellers in Mayo to remain calm and refrain from breaking the law until he has arranged talks to settle the dispute.

The dispute arose when publicans in Mayo proposed to ban travellers from being served on their premises.
